Hi, I’m Tamika, founder of Lengthy Strands Salon and your personal hair restoration specialist.

With over 18 years of experience in the salon industry, I built my reputation by helping women restore their hair to health—especially those who had given up hope. I’m not just passionate about hair. I’m passionate about healing—healing damage, healing confidence, and helping every woman reclaim her crown.

Back in 2019, I stepped away from the salon chair due to a serious shoulder injury. During that time, I saw the beauty industry shift in ways that deeply disturbed me—stylists skipping basic care like shampooing, overbooking to exhaustion, refusing to include conditioning, or even scamming people out of deposits.

It broke my heart… and lit a fire in me.

That’s why I’m returning now—with a bold, uncompromising standard of professionalism, one-on-one care, and restorative expertise you won’t find just anywhere.
