Salon Policies – What You Need to Know Before Booking

At Lengthy Strands Salon, your appointment is more than just hair—it’s a personal, peaceful, luxury experience. In order to protect your time and mine (and keep everything running smoothly), please take a moment to review the policies below.

Deposits & Booking

To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking:

  • $100 deposit for all weave services (this goes towards your service)

  • $50 deposit for silk presses and all other services

You are allowed one reschedule per deposit, as long as you provide at least 48 hours' notice. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not show up for your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.

Timeliness Matters

Time is sacred here—for you and for me. To honor each guest’s experience:

  • Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled and your deposit forfeited.

  • If I’m running behind, you’ll receive a text or call from me with an update—because communication is key and respect goes both ways.

Respecting the Experience

Lengthy Strands Salon is a professional, clean, and relaxing space. My goal is for every client to feel valued, pampered, and prioritized. Please help me maintain that standard by:

  • Coming with your hair detangled and ready for service (unless detangling is added on to your service)

  • Being courteous and open to communication

  • Silencing your phone or taking calls later when possible.

Hair is Not Provided

Please note that bundles, wigs, or extensions are not included with any weave or protective styling service.

You are responsible for bringing your own hair to the appointment. If you need recommendations on what to purchase, feel free to reach out prior to your service.

Clean Hair is a Must

Shampoo and deep conditioning are always included. You’ll never be asked to come “pre-washed.” That’s our job, and we do it right.

No Extra Guests or Children

This is your time to unwind. To keep the environment peaceful and focused on you:

  • No additional guests or children are allowed in the salon suite.
